Business Supporters Spotlight

Business Supporters

Businesses choosing alternative paths for commerce that respect and invest in the wellbeing of our shared communities and resources are changing the future of food and farming. Slow Food USA recognizes these allies of the Slow Food movement and their commitment to good, clean and fair values.

The Bindery Denver

At The Bindery, you'll find elegant dining that accompanies an urban marketplace. Perched on the edge of the lower highland and peering into downtown Denver, The Bindery is reminding Denver locals that in our fast moving times, convenience should not exclude attention to detail, nor pride in our food.

We are a whiskey bar and Cajun-Creole kitchen. My restaurant company has been at the forefront of the slow food/local/sustainable movement since 1995 when I opened my first restaurant, Mr. Friendly's New Southern Cafe. I am currently an advisory member of our local Slow Food board, as well as a Chefs Collaborative Local Leader.

Camellia Brand

Camellia Brand beans of New Orleans are the most delicious, creamy, flavorful, and highest-quality beans you will ever find on a grocery store shelf. Oh, and for the record, our beans are non-GMO and gluten-free.

CASELLA'S PROSCIUTTO SPECIALE is made in America following the time-tested traditions of Italy’s norcini, the itinerant butchers who traveled the countryside preparing, seasoning and aging meat. Just like those dedicated artisans of old, our prosciutto starts with the highest quality ingredients.

The Center for Discovery

At The Center for Discovery, people with disabilities work hard to find a way forward as they shape lives of meaning. The supports we offer are grounded in the land and our community of care and education, which for many years has integrated food and farming, science and research, and health and wellness.

Epicurean Group

Epicurean Group is a foodservice management company headquartered in Northern California dedicated to sustainable dining. Our artisanal approach supports local farms & ranches and the communities we serve.

Luna Restaurant

Open since 2014, we are passionate about fresh, local Italian-style food in Kamuela on the Big Island of Hawaii. We support our local farmers and fishers and ranchers. Our food is 'real' food that we make from scratch, not out of boxes or bags of pre-mixed fake ingredients. We are proud supporters of Slow Food USA!

Mahaffey Farms

Mahaffey Farms is a small, multi-generational family farm striving to grow the most nutrient-dense foods possible for our neighbors in Shreveport-Bossier. We sell pasture-raised meats, eggs, and naturally grown vegetables and herbs.

Peach Dish

Fresh, farm-to-table meal-kits delivered right to your door. Experience delicious, chef-inspired recipes with a side of southern hospitality.

Volpi Foods

Volpi crafts foods with care. We’re the only Midwestern specialty foods company that makes our own dry-cured meats, letting nature perfect each flavor in our family’s authentic recipes. There are no shortcuts or artificial processes. We let nature take its time to bring our foods to their delicious peak with fresh Midwest meats and few ingredients.

Please note that the Slow Food Business Supporters program was created to engage companies in our mission and does not equate Slow Food USA’s endorsement of any company or product. Slow Food USA operates across the United States and we encourage local businesses to also stay involved with their local Slow Food chapters.

Become a Slow Food Business Supporter Today

Slow Food USA created the Business Supporters program to offer benefits similar to a Slow Food individual membership to our business allies, as well as provide businesses with additional opportunities to interact with our network and a platform to proclaim their support of our mission of good, clean, and fair food for all.
