We had a great program on Labor Day. Approximately 150 people, of which half were school-age children, participated in the Alameda event. There were three 8-foot tables of food. We had front page coverage in the local newspaper. The highlight of the event was a food-art program where kids could play with food and basic kitchen utensils to make art objects.
