We were a morning-of, posting for our event which made us a bit under the radar. We did get several out-of-group inquires but a few came too late for me to respond. I can see the power of the tools you put together and next year I’d like to start early and plan on a larger event. Ours was a very intimate gathering!  We had three families gather at Crissy Field in San Francisco, set a lovely table and dine enthusiastically on home-cooked food. The menu included: home-canned peperoncini peppers, homemade tomato juice, roasted chicken with wilted arugala, eggplant and roasted pepper spread, hard-boiled eggs, roasted beets and a raw beet salad, local Fra’ Mani salami, local cheese plate, spread of local bread, and home canned elderberry jam on bread for dessert.  We had plenty of room for others and would gladly have accepted Eat-In enthusiasts.

When asked what the event was for I was able to share the story of a day of action in support of the Child Nutrition Act.

We hope to grow the event next year.
