We had 70ish people, mostly youth and our local family and friends.  A good group of people who heard about the campaign and just came out too.  Our photographers were kids so like the “table cloths, ” photos are a little wonky….but the youth were out early helping set-up, loved the food and helped through out the day—that was the best.  Also, Bitter Ent, one of our teen bands made some special costumes for the event…“NO Fake Food”!  We got petitions signed, some cool drawings from kids.  The planning crew (Cara, Lisa, Raul) for this event was amazing…thank you so much!  We were very excited to have Breanne Varela from Tavern hang out, Juliet Flores from the mayor’s office enjoyed what ACLA does in general, Bettina spent quality time with our girls and did an awesome job with the table tops… hoping to stay in touch with all our new friends!
